Neil Turner
London Psychotherapist

Men and woman from different cultural backgrounds contact me for a variety of reasons some of which include; feeling overwhelmed, issues within the family, couples counselling, anxiety and stress, bereavement and grief, sexual identity, anger, loss of meaning etc. I have experience in helping clients explore these difficulties and counselling can help you to better understand yourself, those around you and the challenges you might be facing.

I have a masters degree in psychotherapy and one of my areas of specialism is anxiety. We all live in a world where stress seems to be an ever present experience. Counselling can provide a unique opportunity to voice your concerns and explore the problems that you may not be able to do in the rush of your everyday life.

Having lived and worked in London for the past 20 years I love what the city has to offer but also recognise the stresses and strains that urban living can bring.

I’m interested in how we, as a species, have lost contact with nature. Particularly as more of us move to the cities. At a similar level many of us have lost contact with our own unique internal nature. We feel good when we’re in connection and experience pain when we lose connection – I’m interested in helping individuals and couples reconnect to themselves and each other.

Having worked in the design industry for many years I later retrained as a counsellor and psychotherapist. With a passion for self-development and healing I believe we all have the capacity to live the lives we we would like to. Counselling can provide the space in which to explore what might be stopping us from doing that.

If you’d like to discuss how therapy might be able to help you please don’t hesitate to contact me here.

As an registered psychotherapist and member of both UKCP and BACP I abide by their code of ethics.
